Erika is a multi-disciplinary artist known for their eclectic and whimsical works. A first generation Dominican American born in NYC raised in The Bronx. Currently located in Montgomery, Al after transplanting from Birmingham, Arizona, Florida, California and Georgia. Having had a 10 year career in agriculture that bloomed at 15, the exploration of Nature and spirit are sewn into much of her work. Her art shows a deep appreciation for the processing and transmuting of trauma through color, sound, texture, conversation and performance. Creating visually stunning and emotionally resonant pieces that invite viewers or listeners to explore the depths of their own inner child and the duality of play and pleasure.
